Our Sketch program is for the aspiring comedy writer, and requires no previous improv experience. The program will culminate in a show written by the class, and tweaked and rehearsed in levels 3 & 4. The first classes concentrate on the different types of sketches, fundamentals, and writing exercises, and over the course of the term, students will hone their crafts to develop a complete show with a limited run at Go Comedy. This program focuses strictly on the writing side of sketch comedy; participants will not be expected to perform in the final show, but rather to produce and cast it.

All classes are $230 unless otherwise noted. There will be a $25 late fee added to this cost if you register after the registration period closes. Please only sign up for Writing if you’ve taken the previous section. Please email with any questions!

Registration is currently closed. It will open on April 30, 2019 (by noon) for our term beginning May 28. The dates and times listed below are for our current Spring term; we’ll announce the May class schedule when registration opens.

Writing 1 | Mondays 7-10PM | Teacher: Chris Fortin
An introduction to sketch comedy writing.

Writing 3 | Tuesdays 7-10PM: Teacher: Mary Beth Kolbicz

*Since taking Writing 3 requires students to also commit to Writing 4, we offer a deal of both classes for $350*
(Or you can pay $230 now for just Writing 3, and pay for 4 later)
